The Product:

The Vision aims to maximise speed, flexibility and comfort. To achieve this, Zone 3 have treated the entire Vision wetsuit with a Speedflo coating (the only wetsuit at this price point to have this). This coating enables the water to flow more easily over the suit’s fabric; thereby reducing any drag in the water. Travelling the same distance without the Speedflo coating would require greater energy consumption, causing fatigue and slowing you down.

The underarms employ an even more flexible, specialist material – ‘Extreme Flex’ – to ensure you are travelling as far a distance as possible per stroke. The panels around the torso and legs, however, are much thicker – at 5mm – encouraging hip and leg lift to improve your posture in the water. This will increase your speed and take the pressure off your core muscles, improving not only your time, but also your ability to recover much more quickly and your ability to endure harder, longer and more gruelling conditions.

The sleeveless design on this particular Vision wetsuit is perfect for those who prefer the uninhibited movement of a wetsuit without material around the shoulders and arms, or indeed as a cooler option to wear in warmer waters to achieve the same amount of support and buoyancy.

• FLEXIBLE – the more flexible a suit is, the less energy your body has to exert trying to pull through a stroke – so flexibility is key. The vision wetsuit has been given arms and shoulders of just 2mm to make your stroke feel as natural as possible.
